How long does it keep?
The packaging keeps air out, so it has a shelf life of seven months. Once opened use it within 8 weeks. No need to keep it in the fridge, so it's also great if you're travelling or camping.
What’s the difference between cacao and cocoa?
Raw cacao is made by cold pressing the beans, ensuring maximum nutrients are retained. Cocoa is heat treated before undergoing the pressing process which destroys a lot of the nutrients. This is why cacao is classed as a superfood and cocoa is not.
What can I use Broma Drinking Chocolate for?
We developed our drinking chocolate to be as user friendly and versatile as possible. Our Instagram page is full of ways to use it. Hot chocolates, milkshakes, topping porridge, baking, ice cream and fruit - the uses are endless!
Are your products organic?
Yes! All our products are certified by the Organic Food Federation.
Is Broma drinking chocolate vegan?
Yes, we’re certified vegan by the Vegan Society
Is Broma drinking chocolate gluten free?
We're not certified gluten free as the factory we use handles gluten. However, the ingredients themselves do not contain gluten.
Why are you called Broma?
The Theobroma Cacao tree is where all chocolate products come from. Broma also means food in Ancient Greek.
