How To Use Our Vegan Salted Caramel Sauce

Our salted caramel sauce is the newest addition to our stellar line up of chocolate sauces and it is truly delicious! It’s made the same way as our original sauce - with organic raw cacao full of delicate yet rich and complex flavours that provide a taste most similar to dark chocolate. We use an incredible natural caramel essence alongside Himalayan pink salt to achieve a decadent salted caramel flavour in our chocolate sauce.

As with all of our products this sauce is made with all natural, plant based ingredients and can be used in so many different ways - as a healthy, vegan hot chocolate, a baking ingredient or a delicious topping. How to use our vegan salted caramel sauce

For Dipping

Whether it’s for fruit, churros, doughnuts, or any other treats, our salted caramel sauce makes the perfect dip. For a simple yet delicious snack, we love fruit skewers dunked in our Broma sauce for a taste of chocolate that’s still healthy, thanks to our organic ingredients.

As A Topping

Our delicious chocolate sauce products can also be used as a topping for a wide variety of snacks, breakfasts and desserts. Whether it’s drizzled over ice cream, pancakes, your porridge in the morning or one of our Broma poached pears, we know that our caramel sauce will add a flavoursome finishing touch that you’re going to love!

There are so many ways to enjoy your hot chocolate drink with our sauce - some like theirs made with almond milk, others prefer oat milk. Some like a splash of vanilla, others love a pinch of cinnamon. What will be your favourite flavour combination?

New recipes to try using our salted caramel sauce

Salted caramel rice pudding (this recipe serves 4)

Ingredients List:

  • 70g short grain pudding rice
  • 600ml milk of choice
  • 1 small stick of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • A pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
  • 100g Broma's Salted Caramel drinking chocolate sauce
  • Coconut sugar to taste


Add all the ingredients, apart from the Broma and coconut sugar, into a saucepan. Simmer on a low heat, stirring frequently, until the rice is tender and the mixture is creamy (for about 30-40 minutes). If the rice needs cooking for longer and the mixture is getting a little too thick, you may want to add a dash of water.

Remove from the heat and stir in Broma sauce. If you like your rice pudding a little sweeter, you can stir in some coconut sugar to taste.

Serve it and top it off with a good dollop of creamy coconut yoghurt and seasonal poached fruit. It's great to eat both warm or cold!

Banana split

We’ve used this classic recipe and taken it to the next level, Broma style! There are so many ways to make a banana split, and everyone has their favourite way. For us, we love ours served with ice cream (Cecily’s is our favourite), fresh berries and a drizzle of Broma’s salted caramel sauce.

Simply cut a banana in half, lengthwise,  and place in a long dish. Then, serve your scoops of ice cream between the split banana and finish off with the toppings of your choice and our delicious sauce!

Salted caramel milkshake or protein shake

Made with your choice of milk and our caramel sauce, a Broma milkshake offers the same delicious flavours as one of our hot chocolates but is best suited to summer and those warmer months when you need a cool, refreshing drink. Simply make this healthy chocolate milkshake in the same way you would our organic hot chocolate - with 200ml of milk and 20-30g of Broma sauce - but, of course, don’t heat the ingredients for this recipe.

As for a Broma protein shake, simply make your shake as you usually would, with milk and protein powder. Then, mix in 20-30g of Broma sauce for a delicious kick of salted caramel that’s certainly going to add plenty of flavour to your shake!
