Delicious New Recipes To Try With Broma Chocolate Sauce
Broma and banana french toast
Our Broma and banana french toast is perfect for when you’re craving a sweet treat and, best of all, it’s super easy to make. It requires just a few simple ingredients - one banana, two slices of white bread, Broma sauce and two medium eggs. To start, simply chop the banana and then, using a fork, mash it up in a bowl. Then, lay a slice of white bread on a clean surface and spread the mashed banana over, making sure it’s spread evenly and close to the edges. Dollop your Broma sauce onto the bread, allowing it to mix with the banana - we think our original flavour works best in this recipe. Top with the second slice of bread to create a sandwich.
You then need to whisk two eggs into a mixing bowl. You can add some spices - such as ginger, nutmeg or cinnamon if you’d like - as well as a vanilla extract for another layer of flavour. Then, preheat a griddle or frying pan and use cooking spray or butter to make sure the bread doesn’t stick. Dip your sandwich into the mixtures of egg and spices, thoroughly covering both sides, and then transfer it to the pan. Cook on both sides until golden and then sit back, relax and enjoy your delicious french toast, Broma style!
Açai and Broma bowls
For a healthy option that’s packed with antioxidants and great flavours, we love an açai bowl topped with our original Broma sauce. Our go-to for this recipe is Boa Vida, who source pure unsweetened açai. For this recipe, you will need 200g grams of açai puree, a frozen banana and 60ml of plant-based milk or water. First, you need to run the pack of açai puree under water for 1-2 minutes or store it at room temperature until slightly thawed. Then, put all of the ingredients into a blender, beating mid-blend to break up the solids. Blend again until you have a thick and creamy consistency.
Then, it’s time to serve the açai - we love ours served in a bowl and topped with granola, puffed quinoa, whole pecans, kiwi and our classic Broma sauce. Açai has a delicious earthy flavour, so the sweetness of the banana and our decadent drinking chocolate complement it perfectly. You could also top yours with plant-based ice cream - we love Cecily’s chocolate ice cream, made with coconut cream and cacao. For a tasty snack that’s natural and vegan, an açai bowl with Broma is the perfect option.
