Our Favourite Easter Chocolate Recipes
Banana and Broma pancakes
Banana and Broma is a foolproof combination, and these light and fluffy pancakes make the perfect breakfast or snack. All you need is two ripe bananas, two eggs, a teaspoon of vanilla extract and 70g of quick-cook oats. First, mash the bananas in a mixing bowl and then mix in your eggs and vanilla. Add in your vanilla and the oats and mix well. Then, heat a frying pan on a medium heat and pour in some of your pancake mix. Cook each side of the pancake until golden.
Serve your pancake topped with fresh fruit - we think that extra slices of banana and fresh berries work extremely well. Then, drizzle over some of our raw cacao sauce to add a rich chocolate flavour. You have to try our salted caramel sauce with this recipe too - it’s simply delicious!
Who says that chocolate isn’t for breakfast? Porridge with our Broma sauce is one of our favourite breakfasts - it’s healthy, tasty and super easy to make. All you need is porridge oats and almond milk for the base of this recipe. Then, you can add a variety of toppings to find your favourite combination! Simply put 50g of porridge oats into a pan with 250ml of milk. Bring this to a gentle simmer and cook over a medium to low heat for around ten minutes, stirring occasionally. You can add more milk to thin the porridge if this is your preferred consistency. We love this porridge topped with fresh fruit - such as banana, figs or berries - chopped almonds, a pinch of cinnamon and our delicious Broma sauce.
Our organic drinking chocolate
For a chocolate fix this Easter that doesn’t involve chocolate eggs, our organic drinking chocolate is a delicious option and a healthier alternative. All of our vegan chocolate sauces - in our salted caramel, orange and original flavours - make a delicious hot chocolate. You can make your drinking chocolate in the microwave for a quick and easy option, or by using a saucepan. To make the drink in a saucepan, heat 200ml of milk in a pan on a low to medium heat. Keep stirring until the milk has heated through. Then, add 20-30ml of your raw cacao drinking chocolate into the milk and keep stirring until heated throughout. The longer you heat the mixture, the richer it becomes!
We think our drinking chocolate tastes delicious just as it is, but if you fancy adding some extras, nutmeg and cinnamon are great for adding a spicy punch - sImply add a pinch of each to the milk when it’s heated. Whichever way you decide to enjoy our organic drinking chocolate, our sauce provides a natural, vegan option to satisfy your chocolate cravings!
